For Easter & Whitsun week and from 11th July we also have tenting and touring caravan pitches available at Hemsby Tent & Touring Site, just 300 yards inland from Long Beach and on its main access road. The site is a level grass field of some 5 acres. A new block of toilet/showers/disabled facilities was built for 2007 and is of a very high and comprehensive standard. It and the approaches are well lit at night: there are resident wardens on site. More mains electricity outlets have been installed as well. Visitors are entitled to use at no extra cost all the facilities on the main site at Long Beach (where the supermarket, the Dolphin Bar/restaurant, Laundromat, beach etc are situated).We are also associated with the Seadell Bar at the end of Beach Road in Hemsby where there is more in the way of entertainment, no membership fees and where you are very welcome.

This is a family site and we don’t normally take unaccompanied groups of young people unless prior arrangement has been made and we are satisfied that there will not be a behaviour problem.

The wireless internet facility that was installed on the main site at Long Beach recently now covers this area, and there is a what’s called a hotspot in the Dolphin Bar where you can access it. And so there will be computers available to hire if you need to keep up with your e-mails (or even pretend you are still at home or in the office at work!)

Acceptance on the site is subject to the warden’s discretion.
ADVANCE BOOKINGS: Please use the form attached to the Long Beach price list, but mark it clearly “Hemsby Touring & Tent Site”. A deposit of £40.00. per week or £20.00. per part week should be forwarded, cheques in favour of “Hemsby Touring & Tent Site”. We now take payment by card over the phone which means your booking is immediately effective.
