What The Sandsgate offers The Sandsgate is conveniently located where the action is, close to the amusements and attractions of Beach Road. It’s also the perfect base for watching the weekly summer fireworks and street entertainment. From Easter 2025 our new south facing outdoor seating area will be open with sea views down through Hemsby Gap. Your four-legged friends are welcome but must stay on leads as we have two pub cats!All-day customer parking is free if you sign-in and register on the tablet on the bar. Customers can park for 20 minutes without registration.You can top up the charge on your electric car, with 7 and 22 KwH car chargers located adjacent to the car park, directly off St Thomas' Road, our access road. Charger credits can be bought at the bar during opening hours.The Sandsgate is open all-year round from 11am until late. Closing times may vary out of season - details are posted on our Facebook page. Entertainment all year round The Sandsgate plays host to a regular darts league which we also sponsor; ask at the bar for details. Regular weekly events include a meat raffle year-round, as well as live entertainment on most days throughout the season.
