Facilities in detail The site has two areas: the main site with around 50 grass pitches and a more secluded area of around 15 pitches with gravel hard standings close to our board-walked wildlife pond. We offer seasonal pitches if you’re looking to stay for the full season in a touring caravan or motorhome.Both fields have 16 amp electric hook ups as well as non-electric pitches.The ground is grassy, flat and level.We have a clean and spacious shower and toilet block, a token-operated launderette, an open Wi-Fi network across the site and two small playparks. And look out for the model sheep! They won't bite. 7.2 KwH token-operated electric car charging is provided in the overflow car park behind Reception. The units are untethered, so make sure to bring your own charging lead.On-site in the former Grange Hotel is The Smokehouse American-themed restaurant. It’s a popular eatery, bar and music venue so advanced booking is advised.Caister-on-Sea is the nearest town and is a 15-minute walk or 5 minutes by car. Please arrive between midday and 7pm on the day of your arrival. Things sometimes don't work out though, so please ring ahead if you encounter any problems with getting on site in that time window. Do you allow fires/fire pits? We do not allow fires or fire pits, to keep the risks of accidental fires to a minimum. What happens if I arrive after hours? Please telephone 01493 730023 to advise us and we will make arrangements with you about what to do. Do you have disabled facilities on site? Yes, we have disabled toilets and showers at Hemsby Tents & Touring and Ormesby Grange Tents & Touring. How far away are you from the nearest shop, at Ormesby Grange? There is a Premier convenience store 30 minutes walk away in Caister-on-Sea. The Tesco at Caister is a 5-10 minute drive. Is WiFi and electricity included in the price? Electricity for our touring and tenting customers is charged as a nightly extra, as shown on the published price list. WiFi is free to use. The electricity supply to seasonal caravan pitches is on a pre-paid card meter, as it is on our static caravan parks. Please see the March 2025 news article for more details.
