No liability can be accepted for any accident or injury to any member of the party included in the booking or to visitors, or for loss or damage to personal property including tents, caravans and vehicles, unless caused by negligence on the part of the site owners or their employees or their agents.Rules effective on our touring caravan sitesThe rules we ask you to adhere to boil down to being a good neighbour on the park: the warden will be the judge of that.Arrival time is from midday until 7pm at the latest. Pitches must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with the Warden. Seasonal touring customers should also have regard to the static caravan site terms and conditions provided by clicking the relevant link at the bottom of the main web page. 1. BALL GAMES: There is no objection to sponge ball games or captive ball games (swing ball etc). But other ball games should please be off the park. 2. PARKING: Overparking is a problem from time to time. If there are more than two cars at your caravan, except for the Grange one car please. Please ask at the office about where you can park the excess vehicles. 3. DOGS: We accept dogs on most of the site. They must be kept under control and not foul the site. Neither are they to be left alone if they are going to bark a lot while the owners are out. We are not prepared to accept large and fierce or fighting type dogs, nor any which are on a restricted / dangerous dogs list. 4. CHILDREN: Small children need to be supervised: and bigger children need an eye kept on them as well, so that accidents don’t happen to the smaller ones. We were all like this once!5. GENERAL: (a) No Fire Pits, Chimineas or Open Fires. (BBQ's are allowed if using proper BBQ fuel only). All BBQs are to be kept off the grass. Bricks etc. are provided outside Reception for this purpose. (b) Please ensure you check and clear the ground around your pitch thoroughly as you leave. Children bring flints etc. up from the beach and leave them on the site, and you may have missed a tent peg or two or some litter. Please make sure that these are kept out of the path of the mowers as stones and pegs can shoot out of the machinery and cause severe damage. (c) Rubbish sacks are free on request from the Office. It does help if you can use them and leave full sacks in the bins provided in the rubbish compound. Recycling facilities provided for your clean & dry loose recyclable waste. All larger items of rubbish must be taken away. 6. NOISY BEHAVIOUR: Should not happen, particularly late at night, quiet time is between 11pm and 7.30am. No raucous behaviour or foul language either please, at any time. 7. FENCES/WINDBREAKS between caravans are unacceptable due to fire regulations. Also, any wind breaks and enclosures need to be removed, if leaving site for more than 3 days unless previously agreed with the warden/manager. 8. CANCELLATIONRefunds be authorised in exceptional circumstances, which by definition will be rare. It is possible we may be able to carry forward any payments we have received for a limited period of time to use against a future booking, at our discretion. However the legal position is that (like any other contract) guests are committed to pay the total due and we are obliged to provide the accommodation, or the touring/tenting pitch, depending on the nature of your holiday booking. If we are unable to fulfil our side of the bargain then we must refund. But if the reason for the cancellation is for guest reasons (and that includes e.g. bad weather if you choose not to come) then you would still be responsible for the whole cost. If we've managed to mitigate our loss by rebooking the accommodation then we may be able to credit a proportion (the amount depending on what we had relet the slot for). The proper way to shield yourself from any liability is for you to take out a holiday insurance policy which covers this risk. Naturally any cancellations will come through to the right person in our office and will be attended to promptly with what we hope to be a flexible and understanding approach, even if we are not in a position to issue a refund.
