Hello everyone, welcome back for another season! Here is just a quick reminder about how to operate the smart card / electric card system on all the static caravan and seasonal touring pitches.Price Per Kw:We have managed to secure a fixed deal with the electric supplier until 2027. This means we can confirm the unit rate of 36 pence per kw will remain in place until the end of the the 2027 season (Nov 2027). Providing certainty in the somewhat volatile climate.Longbeach Caravan Owners:You need to top up at The Dolphin bar - this can be done from 11am to 10:30pm.Sandsgate Caravan Owners:You need to top up at The Sandsgate bar - this can be done from 11am to 10:30pm.Speak to any of the bar staff and they will be able to top up the card for you.Top Up Procedure:You can top up with a minimum amount of £5.00The amount you top up will be converted from £ to kw and put on the card.Unscrew and lift the flap on your meter and push your card all the way into the slot on the right hand side (this is positioned just below the digital screen). Please be careful make sure the card goes in the slot and not in the small gap to the right hand side - if you do this your card will fall into the box!Once the card is pushed in all the way you will hear one "click" sound and "success" will be shown on the meter. This confirms the credit has been added to the meter. How To Know How Much £ You Have Left On Your Meter:The meter shows the electric remaining in kw.To know how much you have in £ you need to take the figure on the meter and mutiply it by 0.36.Example - if the meter shows 10 kw:10 x 0.36 = £3.60
